Using Packminder
You may use Packminder for personal travel planning and packing. You are responsible for the information you enter and for checking anything that could materially affect your journey.
Travel, safety, weather and baggage information
Weather, airline baggage rules, entry requirements, security rules, local conditions and official travel advice can change. Packminder may summarise or link to third-party information for convenience, but important requirements should be verified with the airline, airport, government, accommodation provider or other relevant official source before travel.
Do not rely on Packminder for medical, emergency, immigration or other safety-critical decisions. Follow official advice and professional guidance where appropriate.
Packing recommendations and quantities
Lists and quantities are recommendations based on the trip information supplied and Packminder's rules. Packminder cannot know every personal need, medical requirement, local condition or unexpected event. Review the list, use the information button to understand recommendations and quantities, and change or add anything specific to you.
Local travel documents
The Documents feature is a convenience tool for keeping boarding passes, tickets, booking PDFs, Wallet passes and travel images easy to open from the device you are using. These document files are stored locally in browser storage and are not intended to be uploaded to or retained on Packminder servers.
Local browser storage is not a guaranteed backup. Browser data can be cleared or removed, devices can be lost or reset, and storage can become unavailable. Keep an original or reliable backup in the airline app, booking email, provider account or another appropriate location.
Accounts and saved trips
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. The Free plan supports one cloud-saved trip at a time. Packminder Pro is priced at £9.99 per year where paid checkout is available and is intended to provide unlimited saved trips and Family Trips.
A purchase is only complete after the payment provider confirms the transaction and Packminder grants the corresponding subscription status. If checkout is unavailable or cannot be completed, no Pro purchase has been made through that attempt.
Packminder Pro and billing
Where Pro checkout is enabled, payments are processed through Stripe-hosted checkout. Subscription status may be updated automatically from signed Stripe billing events. Available billing-management options are shown through Packminder when configured. Pricing and included features shown at the point of purchase form part of the offer presented to you.
Family Trips
Family Trips are a Packminder Pro organiser feature. One organiser controls the overall trip and can create separate traveller packing lists, review traveller progress, manage shared family items and invite people to their own traveller list. Invited travellers may use a Free account and are intended to access and update their own list rather than another traveller's personal list.
Invitation links are private and may be tied to a particular email address. Do not forward an invitation to someone who should not have access. Organisers are responsible for entering traveller names and invitation email addresses appropriately and for removing access that is no longer needed.
Do not put passwords, passport numbers, payment-card details, medical records or other highly sensitive information in packing lists, shared items or invitations.
Reviews and feedback
You may leave a genuine rating and optional comment about your experience using Packminder. Submitted ratings may contribute to Packminder's public aggregate rating and comments may be shown publicly. Do not include private, unlawful, abusive or misleading material. Packminder may hide or remove written review content for spam, abuse, privacy, safety or legal reasons.
Affiliate links
Some Packminder recommendations or guides may contain clearly disclosed affiliate links. Packminder may earn a commission from a qualifying purchase without increasing the price you pay. Affiliate arrangements do not guarantee the quality, suitability, availability or price of a third-party product.
Availability and changes
Packminder is a live web service and may be updated as features, providers and travel information change. Temporary outages, maintenance or third-party failures can occur. Packminder cannot promise uninterrupted availability, including availability of locally stored document copies.
Intellectual property
The Packminder name, branding, interface and original site content are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may use the service normally, but you may not copy, republish or present the product as your own.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. To the extent permitted by law, Packminder is not responsible for losses caused by reliance on incomplete or outdated travel information, forgotten items, unavailable or cleared local document copies, third-party services, airline decisions, weather changes or service interruptions.
Links and third parties
Packminder may link to airlines, government guidance, travel providers and retailers. Those services have their own terms, prices and privacy practices. Packminder is not responsible for third-party content or transactions.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when Packminder's functionality, commercial offering or legal requirements materially change. The current version is published on this page.
